Our music classes are the perfect way for students to get involved with music and Mandarin at the same time! Students will learn music theory, receive music worksheets and sheet music, sing Chinese songs, and prepare for performance. In addition to developing musical abilities, singing is also a great way to boost literacy and vocabulary skills. Students will receive instruction from professional musician and Mandarin educator Dr. Wang. 

Participation is a year-long commitment and the program fee covers classes for the entire school year spanning September  2024   through  June  2024. Students have opportunities to perform at the 2024 Winter concert, cultural events, and End of Year recital.

This program is designed to keep music fun and develop students' understanding of musical concepts and music reading abilities as well as build their imaginations, boost self confidence, and so much more!

In the Mandarin immersive environment, children also develop their Mandarin listening and speaking comprehension skills as well as literacy skills through singing in Mandarin.
